Kankuro was showing off his diamond engagement ring. Sakura held up the puppeteer’s left handing, looking at the shine of the ring. “It’s so beautiful!” She exclaimed with glee when Shino appeared a few feet away, walking towards the two.

  The puppet master sighed, like he was jittery. “I know,” he faced the Aburame who stopped near them. Kankuro smiled and ended. “He went to Jared.”

  The pink haired konochi was struck with confusion. “W-what!??”

  Then Kankuro laughed in her face. “Oh my God! Shino, she fell for it!” Standing next him, he chuckled. “Your prank really worked on her.”

  Sakura shook her head and yelled. “Wait, wait, wait! Hold the phone! You mean this is a joke?!”

  “Yeah.”

  “So you’re not marrying Shino, right?” Trying to get her facts straight.

  “Right,” Kankuro nodded, “I don’t like bugs.”

  Sakura sighed with relief then caught Sakura in the corner of her eye and ran after him, screaming his name.

  When it seemed she was far enough, Shino and Kankuro held hand and walked on a different route. “I can’t believe she fell for that either.” Kankuro laughed.

  Shino turned and replied. “No one would ever guess about our relationship. People can be so gullible.”    

  “Our relationship is a secret and it’ll stay that way.”
