You'll never know how much that hurt me. You declared your independence from me, you turned your musket on me, you no longer wanted to be with me. Me, your guardian. Me, your provider. Me, your savior. I, England.

Those words hurt the most. I took you in. I protected you. I cared for you. I wanted to be your big brother!
"Then I guess I'll call you big brother!"

After watching Hetalia and already educated in my history, I saw the characters as characters, not personified countries. With that in mind, I had sympathy for England/Britain. Out of all the characters, England and America had a touching past, the American Revolutionary War seemed to have broken the brothers' bond. I think England suffered more emotionally then America.
That's how this England POV started. I thought of it yesterday and wrote it today. The words italicized are America's and the rest are England's thoughts. This originally was suppose to be a script to a comic. I'm not so sure to have it as a comic.
